Nishant takes MSRIT to semis

17 April 2011, IISc Gymkhana Ground, Bangalore: A whirlwind century by captain Nishant Hegde (144 off 70 balls) coupled with Dabeet's composed half century (77 off 71 balls) helped MSRIT post a whopping 240/2. In reply, SJBIT reached 159/8 in their stipulated 25 overs. This 82-run win takes MSRIT to the semi-finals of the IISc Centenary Cricket Cup 2011.

  1. South Africa fought tooth and nail to save the second cricket test match at Kolkata, India. Team India finally won it with just 9 balls to spare. A test match that was more of a contest for the No. 1 position than for the glory of test cricket.
