IISc Centenary Cup Cricket-2013 started off with IISc playing their first match against INTEL. INTEL won the toss and elected to bat first.
IISc dealt regular blows to INTEL before they were bowled out in 22 overs with 106 runs on board. Though Varun Raturi gave early break throughs for his team, Srivatsa kept the scoreboard ticking. An excellent spell by Arindam Ghosh later in the innings, ensured the game was in favour of IISc once again.
Arindam started off aggressively with Kiran supporting him at the other end. IISc started smelling victory with their sensible partnership of 78 runs in 13 overs, before Arindam got run out. Kiran handled the innings thereafter and led his team to victory with an unbeaten half century.
